We will pick up the guests in the morning from hotel at 9:00 AM and then will go for Full Day Local Sightseeing. We will drive to India Gate, Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhawan In the evening, we will drop all the guests at New Delhi Railway Station or Airport.
India Gate is a 42-metre-high sandstone war memorial located in the heart of New Delhi, designed by Sir
Edwin Lutyens. It honours over 70,000 Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in World War I and the Third
Anglo-Afghan War. The foundation stone was laid in 1921, and the monument was inaugurated in 1931 by
Lord Irwin. Today, it stands as a powerful symbol of India’s valour, history, and national pride.
The Parliament House (Saṁsada Bhavana) in New Delhi is the seat of India’s Parliament, housing both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. Located on Rafi Marg in the Central Vista area, it stands east of the Old Parliament House, which was built in 1927. Due to the ageing structure, a new Parliament building was proposed under the Central Vista Redevelopment Project in 2019. The new Parliament was inaugurated on 28 May 2023 and first used for official sessions in September 2023.
Rashtrapati Bhavan is the official residence of the President of India, located on Raisina Hill at the western end of Rajpath, New Delhi. Designed by Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker, its construction began in 1912 and was completed in 1929. Originally known as the Viceroy’s House, it became the President’s residence after India became a republic in 1950. The grand estate has 340 rooms spread over 320 acres, making it one of the largest presidential residences in the world.
Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a 73-metre tall 5 story tower which was constructed by
Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the founder of Delhi Sultanate, in 1193. Its design is thought to be based on the
Minaret of Jam.
Waste to Wonder Park, also known as Seven Wonders Park, stands as a testament to creativity, resourcefulness, and environmental consciousness. Located near Sarai Kale Khan in New Delhi, this unique theme park reimagines iconic global monuments using discarded materials.
This place is important and even UNESCO thinks so. It is the first Garden Tomb of India. A long time ago,
Humayun's wife wanted to build this special tomb for him after he passed away.
Agrasen Ki Baoli, a major tourist attraction in Delhi, is protected by The Archaeological Survey of India. The structure is believed to have been built sometime during the Mahabharata era. The baoli is an ancient water reservoir that stands 60 mts. long and 15 mts. wide with an assorted mosaic of 103 step stones.
Lotus Temple is a prominent attraction of the city because of its unique flower-like shape. It was built in
1986 and is open for everyone irrespective of religion. It has won many architectural awards and has also
been featured in many newspapers and magazines.
